Together, Scott our General Manager along with Mark and Patrick our Operations Managers personally oversee every job from start to finish. Between them, they have over 50 years’ experience in the industry.
It starts with understanding all that is involved with your move, including any special requirements. We have two methods –
- You can complete an inventory online OR download a form from our website and email the completed form to us.
- For moves ex the Sunshine Coast – either Scott, Mark or Patrick can visit your home to discuss your specific requirements and assess the size of the job.
We also use Google Maps online to check the locations at the both ends of the move to determine truck access and sizing as well as accurately assess loading and unloading times. It’s a demonstration of our commitment to getting our planning right; understanding that oversights in planning generally lead to disappointments in delivery.
We plan each job thoroughly, only promising what we know we can deliver.
Accuracy of the information you provide to us is critical to ensure the right amount of space, time and resources are assigned to your job.
We are then able to provide you with a FIXED PRICE QUOTE.

This is a written guarantee of our services and a fixed price proposal for your move, so that you know exactly what to expect and how much your removal will cost. We also include information on options and costings for insurance.
Acceptance of our quote by you provides confirmation of all agreed details and enables us to plan and lock in the date for your move. The earlier the better, as our diary often fills up well in advance.
We then allocate a suitably qualified team to your particular job. We are very particular about every single person we add to our team, as we regard each individual wearing a Noosa Van Lines uniform as being Noosa Van Lines, there and then on the spot. Our outstanding reputation has been hard earned and our aim is to keep it that way.
Responsibility for planning your move rests with Scott, Mark or Patrick.
To make this job easier, we have invested in specially designed industry software for managing all of the various steps in each and every move. Providing up to date tracking and management tools, with full details on all current moves as well as comprehensive historical records. It is a very good research tool for the purposes of planning and continuous improvement.
Responsibility for managing your move on-site, rests with the experienced driver allocated to your move. Upon arrival, they will start with confirming relevant details with you, taking into account any specific requirements you might have and will finish up by checking with you if there is anything more required prior to them leaving.
They are responsible for ensuring that all work is performed efficiently and safely… and to Noosa Van Lines’ high standards.
Support as necessary is provided by Scott, Mark or Patrick over the phone.
Follow up on the day with the drivers and subsequently over the phone or via customer reviews provides us with the knowledge to ensure each job is finalised to the required standard; as well as providing insights into how we can continue to get better at everything we do.

Packing and Supplies.
Get us to do it all for you.
If you want to make a huge dent in your own to do list and reduce the disruption to your household ahead of your move, then why not have us take care of your packing. We doubt you will regret it.
Our packing teams are fully trained and qualified by AFRA (Australian Furniture Removers Association), they can attend to your packing needs all at once, quickly and easily. Avoiding the need to start packing well in advance, fitting it in when you can, and having boxes all over the house. In most cases, we don’t need to start until the day before you’re booked to move.
If we are doing your packing for you, we will calculate the materials needed and cost these items into the quote for you.
Do it yourself.
Of course, if you prefer to do the packing yourself, we can provide you with all the boxes and packing material, you need.
Always best to use quality removal boxes, rather than the cheap and nasties provided by some outlets, to better protect your belongings and reduce the likelihood of boxes splitting or falling apart.

Insurance for your move
If Your Goods are Worth Moving They’re Worth Insuring
ONLY approved furniture removalists can now legally offer you Transit and Storage Insurance Cover.
Noosa Van Lines is an authorised representative registered with Australian Securities Investment Commission (Authorised Rep. no. 281037) of Cowden (Vic) Pty Ltd, Aldridge and Street Division, a general insurance broker licence no. 245658. As members of AFRA and authorised representatives, our team has been trained and are qualified to arrange transit and storage insurance for you.
Insurance is optional.
It’s worth checking your existing home contents insurance policy to see if any cover is provided under your existing policy. If not, we can arrange transit and storage insurance for you.
To do this we will supply you with the following documents:
- Customer Checklist – to help you through the insurance maze.
- Product Disclosure Statement – provides details of the main features of the insurance offered.
- Financial Services Guide – outlines how the policy can be arranged, and how parties are remunerated.
- Policy Wording – details the risks covered, the basis of settlement, exclusions, claims procedures and special conditions of the policy in plain English.
- Insurance Declaration Form – for your completion to itemise goods covered and specify the type of insurance cover required.
- Frequently Asked Questions – a table of frequently asked questions and quick answers.
Two Types of Removals Insurance are available to you.
You can select from two different levels; they are:
- Restricted Cover
Covers your goods in the event of the vehicle catching fire, flood, overturning or being involved in an accident… for the value selected
- Full Cover
Covers your goods in the event of loss or damage from any external cause.
…including accidental damage from the time the removalist uplifts goods from your home until delivery into your new home. This policy also covers the risks included in the restricted cover policy.
An excess of $200 applies to any claims.
Removals Insurance for your belongings in storage
Where your goods are held in storage, full cover may be extended at a small monthly premium to provide you with full insurance over this period and then the redelivery to your new home. Alternatively, restricted cover is available to cover the risk for fire or flood.

Arranging Removal Insurance Gives You Peace of Mind
Completing the Insurance Declaration form and returning it to us before your move means that you can be assured you are covered in accordance with the level you selected and the premium paid.
If you need to store your goods between the pick-up from one residence and the delivery to your next residence, we can arrange that for you too. Depending on your circumstances and requirements, we can pick and deliver to storage centres at either end of your move.
